Uda Palatha Divisional Secretariat is the Northern boundary Pasbage Divisional Secretariat is in the Eastern boundary Yatiyantota Divisional Secretariat in the Kegalle District is in the Southern boundary Aranayake Divisional Secretariat in the Kegalle District is in the Western boundary.

Ganga Ihala Korale Divisional Secretariat Division is 103.56 square km in extent, represent 9840 ha it means sharing 4.84 percent of the total extent of Kandy District with 180 villages. It is divided in to 31 Grama Niladhari Divisions, with a population of 67568 people consisting 1750 families and 16209 houses. It is a moderately populated division among 20 Divisional Secretariat Divisions in Kandy District.

News and Events

The launching of the official website of Ganga Ihala Korale Pradeshiya Sabha held on January 03, 2023 under the patronage of the Hon. Chairman of the sabha Mr. G.O.G.D. Nadeera Bandara Jayasekara.

Circle Unions were started in the year 2015 by the Ganga Ihala Korale Pradeshiya Sabha, with the intention of providing effective and efficient Government services in a maximum level, close touch with people for the social welfare of the society.

There are 04 Circle Unions functioning in the Ganga Ihala Korale Pradeshiya Sabha. 01.Moon Circle, 02.Sun Circle, 03.Star Circle and 04.Eco Circle

Circle Projects implemented in the year 2022. Three or four Social Welfare Projects are implemented in a year.
